John P. Woodey

John has designed for The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Chautauqua Opera, African Continuum Theatre Company, Shaker Mountain Opera, Olney Theatre Center, Imagination Stage, Catalyst Theatre Company, Longstocking Productions, Hard Bargain Players(WATCH Award nomination), College of Southern Maryland, Young Victorian Players, and the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, PA.  He assisted James F. Ingalls on Caroline, or Change and Michael Lincoln on The Piano Lesson and The Glass Menagerie. John was faculty at DeSales University and Catholic University of America. John holds an MFA from Ohio University where he designed MacBett, Happyslap, and The Trojan Women, all receiving the Peggy Ezekiel Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design.  John divides his time between Brooklyn, NY, Charlotte, NC and Washington, DC.
